“That’s compared to what we’ve previously spent,” Gramlich added. ” As a result, we’ve had to adjust in order to guarantee that the expenses were covered.”

Gramlich said she plans her trip to Disney Resort based on the cheapest fares available. Additionally, Gramlich donates her plasma – the liquid portion of blood without cells – up to twice a week, which helps her cover the costs of airfare and lodging.

“I was like, β€˜Oh, I can help somebody by donating plasma instead of doing something else.’”

According to Gramlich, Grammies makes between $500 and $1,000 each month depending on when she goes.

Dr. Renee Gramlich said her clinic does not reimburse her for plasma donations, but she is compensated for her time. Donating takes Dr. Gramlich around 30 minutes each month.

For donating plasma, Gramlich received money that covered the entire cost of being able to go to Disney World, including flights and other expenditures.
