Unlike the virtual queue, you don’t need an Epcot Park Pass to purchase a Individual Lightning Lane if you’re starting your day in a different park, but if you want to take advantage of park-hopping opportunities, you’ll need one. You’ll also have to pick a return time for 2 p.m. or later, when park hopping begins. For Epcot after 2 p.m., you must first enter into your first park where you had your reservation before entering the World Showcase after 2 p.m..

Individual Lightning Lane selections are selling out just as swiftly as virtual queue boarding groups (which often fill in as little as 3-5 seconds), albeit not as quickly. However, we have seen Cosmic Rewind Individual Lightning Lane choices available for purchase as late as 8:20 a.m., so keep trying if you miss the initial drop of availability.

This means that guests staying off site will miss out on the opportunity to buy Individual Lightning Lane tickets for Cosmic Rewind and will instead be placed in a virtual line with everyone else.
