Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO)

Jan. 12: Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contracting Program Webinar

The Office of Women’s Business Ownership (OWBO) at the Small Business Administration (SBA) works with district offices to provide assistance to female entrepreneurs. Programs include business training, counseling, government contracts, and access to credit and capital.

The OWBO is in charge of Women’s Business Centers (WBCs). These centers seek to level the playing field for all women entrepreneurs, who still face specific barriers in the business world.

The success rate of businesses that use WBCs is significantly higher than that of those who do not. Find your nearest center.
