Disney World opened 50 years ago; these workers never left

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — George Kalogridis, a high school graduate who applied to be one of the initial employees at Walt Disney World, made a split-second decision that determined his life: he picked an area where new hotel workers were being hired.
